Next time you are camping with a group and looking for something fun to do, try mountain ball! I am unsure of the origins of Mountain Ball, but, I believe it might be Philmont scout ranch. That’s where I first learned to play it. It is a crazy fun filled game! You can usually fashion a bat and ball out of materials at hand. We made a ball from a pine cone, some socks and some duct tape. I recommend a soft ball like that since this is played without gloves.
